every movie takes place in a different time period, but also every character is aware of the characters from the other movies.
carrie fisher is like princess zelda except instead of being trapped in a castle it’s that she’s trapped in a different galaxy?
‘yoda’ and ‘chewbacca’ are like different animals and everyone (ie luke skywalker?? princess leia??) is cool with them existing/doesn’t make a big deal out of them?
i’m realizing that i don’t quite understand the difference between the galaxy and the universe. this is a separate problem, removed from the not knowing anything about star wars, but maybe watching star wars would solve both?
stormtroopers are a different species? or maybe they’re just humans in some fun little plastic outfits?
same re: darth vader… i have NO idea what’s going on with his DNA.
adam driver = bad
from what i understand, robots (“r2d2” specifically?) are not much more advanced in the galaxy star wars takes place in than they are here. this strikes me as odd.
harrison ford = good
i’m realizing i know nothing about the titular ‘wars’… what are we fighting for? who are we fighting against?
within the star wars EU, if you’re not on a spaceship, you’re in the desert.
despite the ad’s specific reference to george orwell’s 1984, this is all somehow connected to that 1984 apple commercial.
this is everything i know about star wars.
